After almost a year hiatus I want to get back into blogging.
I decided I needed a break to focus on things I was neglecting. I have been doing much better with my priorities and there are things that I want to share with my children.
Dear A & E,
This weekend, Mommy and Daddy went to a Marriage retreat/conference thingy. While E is still in my tummy we put A in the caring hands of strangers at the conference so we could learn how to better our marriage.
This is what I want to share with you. This is the important stuff.
You are very blessed children. We did not go to a marriage retreat because we had major issues we needed to work on. We did not go to a marriage conference because we 'needed' to go. We went because we wanted to go. We wanted to learn how to make our great marriage a marriage of service to others.
We learned a lot and are excited to implement the foundational biblical advice we received. We want this for you. We want you both to be blessed with a Godly spouse. We want your first marriage conference to be out of a desire to grow and better a great marriage.
You were blessed by a break from Mommy and Daddy. The time we spent together, without you, will only enrich your life.
